This website has a whole bunch of free designer furniture. Just sign up to get a password, browse through the collections of furniture. When you find something you like, click into the downloads section on the left side of the screen and check to see if they have a model of it. They have 3d models for most of their collections. It is really nice modern stuff, and the modelling is really good. They support most formats.
