After the acquisition of Maya by Autodesk, the new ownership has attempted to make an online community that caters to the diverse user base of both 3d Studio Max and Maya. The result is the "Area", a resource for users of both programs that offers tools, tutorials, galleries and more. This is an important resource for all 3D artists. Check it out!
