For all you maxwell renderers out there, check out the fantastic textures available for free online if you haven't already. They look so far superior to anything else we have seen...even Vray.
Probably the nicest thing about Maxwell is that it can plug-in to almost any modelling program that you might use...including some of the simpler ones such as google sketchup or FormZ.
Combine a simple modeller with a sophisticated, and relatively cheap, lighting system like Maxwell, and you could have a pretty amazing workflow.
